ABOUT THE DESERT BUSHWALK
Officially registered in 2015, CSI-Concepts FOUNDATION is a formally constituted Trust managed by
a Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees at CSI-Concepts FOUNDATION is made up of a group of professionals
(from different fields) and community representatives.
The leadership of CSI-Concepts FOUNDATION and The Desert Bush Walk
Local Organizing Committee-LOC, host one of its most successful events known as the Annual Desert Bush Walk. This annual bush
walk is geared towards supporting sustainable educational initiatives that address the needs of disadvantaged Children within
the Jwaneng / Mabutsane Region and ultimately aiming at targeting other regions in Botswana.
Our walk is based on sponsors (individuals or corporate), contributions and individual participation fee even sponsorship in-kind.
All the funds raised from all kinds of sponsorship go directly to our Charitable Projects. Yearly we start from Zero budget.
The main objectives of CSI Concepts FOUNDATION and The Desert Bush Walk LOC are as follows:
- To make sustainable contributions towards the education, development and empowerment of marginalised communities in Botswana.
- To encourage health and wellness, whilst growing hiking as a sport of interest, nature walks as well as environmental awareness in Botswana.
- To grow the sports tourism sector under domestic and international tourism through unique hiking
excursions throughout Botswana.
- To become an impactful organization that does not exist exclusively for leisure but one that changes lives and lifestyles.
